Personalized classic children's books
Turn a favorite photo into a beautifully illustrated hardcover starring your child in timeless stories they'll want to experience again and again.
All three included — never an upsell.
How it works
Most personalized books print a name on the page. StoryLikeness™ illustrates your child — so they recognize the hero on every spread.
1Upload a favorite photoOne clear picture of their face is enough.
2Meet their StoryLikeness™An illustrated character built to look like them. You approve it.
3See the whole bookEvery spread, before anything prints.
4Send it to printA premium hardcover, plus the read-along and the audiobook. It starts with one photo. Seeing them drawn is free.
The “that's me!” moment
Every illustration below was made from the photograph beside it, by the same process that runs on a real order.
The cover
One photograph is all it takes. We draw your child as the hero of the story — their face, their hair, their coloring — and that is who looks back from the front of the book.
Every page
They are in all eleven illustrations — the same child, page after page, standing in the middle of the story. This is the part a book that only prints their name cannot do.
Read-along and audiobook
Every book comes with an illustrated read-along, where each word lights up as it is spoken, and an audiobook that says their name the way you say it. Both included — never an upsell.
Two editions
Tell us whether the book is for a boy or a girl and we choose the right hero of that story for them — Peter or Wendy, Aladdin or the princess. Not the same book with a name swapped in: the words and the pictures are written for that child from the start.
Sample portraits, not customers. The photographs are stock images; each illustration beside one was generated from it by StoryLikeness™, exactly as it would be for an order. No customer's child appears on this site.
Four classics, ready now
Sherwood needs someone brave enough to give everything away.
An open window, a boy who refuses to grow up, and the roofs of London going small below.
A lamp in a cave, a wish that could be anything, and one very important decision.
The road is long, the company is odd, and home is a very long way off.
Stories they'll love.
Every adventure is a classic that has been told for centuries, and the character is already in it — courage, kindness, generosity, choices and what they cost. We don't bolt a moral onto the end. It is the reason these stories outlived everything written alongside them.
Which makes them worth talking about afterwards. Why Robin gives away everything he takes. Why the Tin Woodman already had a heart. What your child would have done — and that is a better conversation than any lesson we could print.
Pick a story. See them in it, free.
Read it. Follow along. Listen to it.
Every book includes the complete adventure in three ways.
Read it
Premium 8×8, matte, printed and bound to survive being loved.
Follow along
A digital edition for a tablet or phone, separate from the hardcover: every word lights up as it's read, so they can follow along and read it themselves at the same time. Three speeds, starting slow.
Listen
Their name read aloud the way you say it — for the car, and the nights when nobody has the voice left.
Nothing prints until you say so
