StoryLikeness™

They Won't Just Find Their Name. They'll Find Themselves.

The difference between a book with your child's name in it and a book with your child in it.

From $34.99 · Free shipping included
A small boy holding up his hardcover of Aladdin, laughing over the top of it. The boy on the cover has his face, and the name Noah is painted across the evening sky above him.

Personalized children's books have printed a name into a template for decades. It works, a little — a child likes hearing their name. But they know the drawing is not them.

StoryLikeness™ is our name for the step that changes that. From one photograph we build an illustrated character designed to look recognizably like your child, and then we hold that same character across every spread of the book — the same face on page three and page thirty, in watercolor, in the same style as the rest of the art.

Holding a likeness steady across twelve illustrations is the hard part, and it is most of what we have built. It is also why we show it to you first.

How it works, plainly

StoryLikeness™ uses image-generation technology to create the illustrations. We describe it by what it does rather than how it is built, because what matters to a parent is whether the book looks like their child — but we are not hiding it, and our privacy policy sets out exactly how photos are processed, how long they are kept and how to have them deleted.

Your child's photograph is used to make your book and nothing else. It is not sold and not used in advertising.

Read it. Follow along. Listen to it.

One adventure. Made entirely theirs.

Every book includes the complete adventure in three ways.

The printed hardcover, standing on a table.

Read it

The hardcover.

Premium 8×8, matte, printed and bound to survive being loved.

A tablet held upright showing the read-along, with the word being spoken highlighted.

Follow along

The read-along storybook.

Every word lights up as it's read, so they can follow the story and read it themselves at the same time. Three speeds, starting slow.

A phone playing the audiobook, with headphones beside it.

Listen

The audiobook.

Their name read aloud the way you say it — for the car, and the nights when nobody has the voice left.
