Stories they'll love
Lessons that last.
Wizard of Oz has been told for centuries, and the character is already in it — courage, kindness, what a choice costs. We don't bolt a moral onto the end. It is the reason this story outlived everything written alongside it.
Which makes it worth talking about afterwards, and a book your child is the hero of gives you the opening. Three places we would start:
- Everyone on the road thought something was missing from them. What are you already good at?
- The friends were all very different. What makes someone a good friend?
- It was a long walk. What do you do when something takes longer than you hoped?
Not ready to personalize it yet? Read the whole The Wizard of Oz story free — the complete adventure, about 10 minutes, nothing held back. Read it free first, then decide whether your child should be the hero of it.
