The terms, in plain words
- You earn 7% of the books
- Of the book and any activity book — not the postage, which is free on your link anyway, and not sales tax, which was never ours.
- Commission is paid once the book is printed
- Not when the order is placed. Customers can have their money back any time before a book goes to press, so commission becomes payable the day it is sent to the printer — usually within a week of the order.
- A refund cancels the commission
- If a customer is refunded before the book is printed, there's nothing to pay. We will not ask for money back after it has been paid out.
- Paid monthly, once you're owed $50
- Smaller balances roll into the next month. We'll need a W-9 before the first payment.
- Your own orders don't count
- Using your own link for your own book is the one thing that voids an account. The free hardcover is yours — that's what it's for.
- Please don't
- Bid on our name in paid search, post your code to coupon-aggregator sites, or imply you're us. Any of those ends the partnership.
- Either of us can stop
- You can leave whenever you like, and we can end a partnership with notice. Anything already earned is still paid.
